Let’s get straight to it—no, there isn’t a McDonald’s in Corfu any more. It closed in 2020, much to the disappointment of many.

Don’t panic though, myself and family visit Corfu a lot and it is full of amazing food.

But trust me,I do get it. Sometimes you need something quick and familar!

As I just mentioned, unfortunely there is no McDonalds on Corfu Island.

There was only ONE in Corfu Town but it closed in 2020 as the lease was up.

Does McDonalds Exist In Greece?

Yup, just no on Corfu Island.

You will find Mcdonalds resturants in many parts of greece including, Athens, Kos, Rhodes and a lot of other places.

Does Corfu Have A Burger King?

There is one, but it’s in the departure area of Corfu Airport.

However, my parents have eaten there a few times and said it was awful so it’s probably best to avoid it 🙃

What Fast Food Chains Are There In Corfu?

The Island doesn’t have known fast-food chains like KFC, McDonald’s, Taco Bell etc.

To be honest, there aren’t that many chain places in Corfu- but don’t let that but you off!

There is a huge selection of burgers.
You can order delivery, collect or eat in.
Easily eat for €5–10 pp.

Di Santo Premium Sandwiches– Corfu Town (MY FAVE 😍)

Absolutely stunning shop!
Take-away mainly, a few seats outside.
Quick service.
Large selection of freshly-made Italian sandwiches.
Typically costs €5–10.
You can order collection or delivery online.

Yummies Sandwich Bar– Roda

Dog-friendly and open late.
Amazing value for money.
Perfect for families as it has the best waffles and crepes

Mr Bobos Food Truck– Karniaris

Well -priced and quick service.
Vegan options.
Burgers, dirty fries and a variety of other options. But most people pick a gyros and a beer!
Super clean and has plenty of parking (Uber and buses are great if you don’t drive).

So “is there a McDonalds in Corfu?”, unfortunely not.

I’m sorry if this isn’t the answer you are looking for but trust me, it’s not all doom and gloom.

I have visited a lot of Greek islands and I think Corfu is the best!

It not only has amazing local resutrants to have a lovely long lunch but hundreds of places to grab a bite on the go.
