Corfu Airport it great because unlike other destinations, it doesn’t take hours to get there or cost you a fortune.

It is 3.1km from Corfu Town itself so in good traffic, you’ll reach there in 10 minutes.

Best Transfer Options From Corfu Airport

Sometimes you just need all in information in front of you. To help you out, I have put the best transfer options, average prices and their pros in cons all in one place.

I have also included the best places to book them!

a table listing the best transfer options and their pros and cons from Corfu Airport. This includes bus, uber, taxi and hire car.

These are the best resouces I use to book:

🚗 Discover Cars– The only Car Hire Company I use

🚌 Green Buses– The top budget-friendly option

✈️ Airport Transfer.Com– Great for airport transfers

⭐️ Corfu Tour– The best way to see Corfu with a private driver

Bus (Green Buses & Local Buses):

The bus is the most affordable way to get from the airport, with tickets costing between €1.20 and €3.

The journey time varies from 10 to 60 minutes, depending on your destination. Green Buses connect Corfu Town with other parts of the island, while local blue buses run frequent services between the airport and the town center.

However, buses have limited routes and schedules, making them less convenient for late-night arrivals or trips to more remote areas.

Taxi:

Taxis are a quick and convenient option, with fares ranging from €15 to €50 depending on the destination.

The journey can take anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes.

They are readily available outside the airport and operate 24/7.

While taxis offer comfort and ease, they can become expensive, especially for longer trips across the island.

Hire Car:

I love hiring a car in Corfu– it saves a serious amount of money when visiting as a group!

For travelers looking for flexibility, renting a car is a great option, with prices starting at around €25 per day.

This allows visitors to explore Corfu at their own pace and reach destinations that are not well-served by public transport.

However, driving on unfamiliar roads, dealing with local traffic, and finding parking in busy areas like Corfu Town can be challenging.

⭐️For the best rates and car options, I highly recommend using Discover Cars.⭐️

Uber (or Local Ride Apps):

Uber and similar ride-hailing services are not widely available in Corfu.

Bolt isn’t available However, Uber is!

But be aware, they aren’t private drivers and are pretty much normal taxis.

They are not hugely popular on the Island so if you want to use them, book your journey in advance.

Private Transfer:

For those seeking a hassle-free and comfortable experience, private transfers offer a pre-booked service with fixed pricing.

Prices range from €30 to €100 depending on the vehicle type and destination.

This is a great option for families, groups, or those carrying a lot of luggage!

While it is more expensive than taxis or buses, private transfers provide convenience, reliability, and a stress-free start to your trip 🤩.

Final Thoughts

Even though there is only 1 airport in Corfu, don’t let it put you off!

It’s easy to get to, has plenty of transport links and simple to navigate.

However, I will warn you that during the summer is can be a bit chaotic.

If you plan to check a bag in, I do recommend coming a bit earlier because the lines can be slow to move and stupid busy 😳
